The Texas School for the Deaf Foundation held its second annual 5 K run and festival, The Run for All, on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the TSD campus on South Congress Avenue.
The Run for All Event was a huge success! We had around 80 runners in the 5K and around 600 festival participants. The weather was beautiful and all festival goers had a great time playing the games, enjoying the food trucks and listening to the amazing music. The TSD music duo Kimball and Painter performed on stage in addition to Ruby Jane and her band. Svantes Burgers, Dog Daze, and The Big Drip Ice Cream Lady provided fun food from their food trucks!
Run For All Participants
The evening was topped off by a presentation of “Beetlejuice” with subtitles by the Alamo Drafthouse Road Show on a big screen on the football field. Movie watchers enjoyed sitting on the field, munching on popcorn provided by Yelp and watching the fun Halloween movie.
