Language for All Campaign
Language For All is a cry for understanding, an appeal for support and a mission for self-determination on behalf of deaf and hard of hearing children in Texas. We want all Texans to understand that language and literacy are fundamental human rights, no less for our deaf and hard of hearing children than for those who can hear.
The fate of Texas School for the Deaf and students state-wide depends on support from the Texas community. We want one million Texans to declare that deaf and hard of hearing children are an important part of this great State by donating your support ensures that Texas School for the Deaf will continue to provide excellence in access and education for all deaf and hard of hearing children in Texas for another 150 years. (Yes, Texas School for the Deaf is, in fact, the oldest continuously operating public school in the state!)
The Language For All campaign is an ongoing awareness campaign designed to raise funds to give the over 5000 deaf and hard of hearing children in Texas access to language and literacy. The Language for All motto was introduced in 2011 and continues to be our outcry to the public to support our cause. Please support our cause with a donation and help us spread awareness surrounding the need for funding to provide access to communication and education to the deaf and hard of hearing children in Texas!!
