MORE: Hilton’s executive staff gives a select group of TSD culinary students the opportunity to participate in a once-in-a-lifetime experience working in the renowned downtown Austin landmark hotel and state-of-the-art kitchen. Students work along side Hilton’s top chefs to create a unique, locally-sourced, gourmet banquet for 200 lucky guests Thursday evening, May 23 – a fundraiser presented by the TSD Foundation.

The annual Diamond Gala showcases the TSD/Hilton 13-year partnership, the talents of TSD’s culinary students, and celebrates the school’s rich 164-year history of providing an exemplary education and resources to Texas’ students, ages 0-22, who are deaf and hard of hearing.

Proceeds from the event support the students at Texas School for the Deaf, plus the estimated 7,000+ other deaf and hard of hearing children all across Texas, along with their families, professionals, and the networks of support that hold us all together.
