Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) welcomes alumni friends, family and neighbors to celebrate its’ annual homecoming this weekend at the iconic 163-year old TSD campus, located at 1102 South Congress Avenue, in South Austin.

TSD’s annual homecoming pep rally gets things started with the full student body donning school colors and participating, today at 1:30 p.m. 

A full day of events open to the public, Saturday, October 12, kicks off with the TSD homecoming festival from10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., featuring museum tours, food and game booths, TSD logo wear and arts and crafts.

At 1:00 p.m., the TSD JV Lady Rangers face the San Marcos Panthers in TSD’s Seeger Gym, followed by the Varsity match-up at 2:00 p.m.

Homecoming pre-game festivities will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. on TSD’s Rudolph Gamblin field when the Rangers meet the Texas Wind of Waco on the gridiron for the homecoming football game and crowning of the TSD 2019 homecoming court at half-time. Kick-off is at 5:30 p.m.
